Mint/ Pudina raita is so fresh and refreshing and goes well with starters and rice dishes. It is easy to make and does not require any cooking skills. So just go on and try this recipe to add an extra taste to any dull meal.
Serves: 2-3
Preparation time: 5-8 mins.
Cooking time: zero mins.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh curd/ yogurt
½ cup fresh mint leaves
3-4 tablespoons water for grinding mint leaves
¼ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
¼ teaspoon chaat masala
Salt as required
Directions:
- Wash the mint leaves and grind them in a blender, using water into a smooth paste.
- Take curd in a big bowl or tumblr, whisk to eliminate any lumps.
- Add in mint paste, cumin powder and chaat masala and salt.
- Mix well. Garnish with a mint sprig.
- Mint raita is ready to be served with any starter like paneer tikka or rice dishes like veg pulao, veg biryani etc.
Tips:
- Keep refrigerated until use so that raita does not turn sour.
